RED FM creates 'Josh anthem', kick-starts campaign for World Cup 2019

MUMBAI: RED FM, in association with The Bharat Army, has kick-started its World Cup campaign, ‘Mera Josh Mahaan’. Capturing the electrifying feeling of ‘JOSH’, for World Cup 2019, RED FM is giving fans an opportunity to experience the tournament in England along with team India’s biggest cricket supporters club.

Keeping the passion of the World Cup alive, RED FM has also created an energetic anthem capturing the emotions of cricket fans. The Josh anthem has been composed by RED FM team and Bollywood singer, Divya Kumar has crooned it.

Speaking about the campaign RED FM COO Nisha Narayanan said, “India is a nation where cricket is a religion. At RED FM, we always strive to create some very differentiated and engaging content for our listeners. Cricket over the years has always united fans and radio has been a crucial part in bringing the fans together in cheering for Team India. We are thrilled to partner with The Bharat Army who have been passionately following the Indian Cricket Team around the world.”

The campaign will be executed in more than key markets across the country with 45 days of nonstop ‘JOSH’.

In what can be called as the one in a million opportunities, RED FM will be running a slogan contest to give 12 lucky fans across India, a chance to go to England on an all-expense paid trip. In this exclusive opportunity, enthusiastic cricket fans can participate and win the opportunity to cheer for the Indian cricket team in England.

Additionally, RED FM will also be hosting the following activities on-air for their listeners:

- Score Jockeys: Among the many activities in this campaign, fans will get an opportunity to be a part of an exclusive section on-air called ‘Score Jockey’s’. Lucky fans will get a chance to be the voice of RED FM and provide score updates in a quirky and interesting ways.

- Gupta Ji Ki Googli: Stand-up comedian Appurv Gupta, popularly known as Guptaji will be featured on a series of World Cup centric comedy capsules called ‘Gupta Ji Ki Googli’, creating a perfect blend of humour and cricket.

- Bunk for India: With a Cricket Trivia on-air contest, listeners will have to download RED FM India app to get shortlisted for the ‘Bunk For India’ contest. The special die-hard cricket fan will get the opportunity to bunk work without the pressure of losing their money as RED FM will pay their one-day salary, so that the winner can enjoy one full day of non-stop cricket unhindered.
