Radio Nasha celebrates legendary diva SrideviÆs birth anniversary

MUMBAI: Radio Nasha, which is known for giving justice to the excitement, romance and attitude of the magical eras of 1970s-1990s, celebrates late Bollywood actress, Sridevi’s birth anniversary, today.

To commemorate the first birth anniversary of the eternal diva, Sridevi, post her demise, Radio Nasha has a tribute planned for the legend that includes interviews, dedications and even an on ground event.

Talking about Radio Nasha’s tribute HT Media Ltd Radio and Entertainment CEO Harshad Jain, says, “Radio Nasha feels privileged to pay tribute to the legend, Sridevi on her birth anniversary. Sridevi was an actor par excellence and gave joy and happiness to a generation.  We are happy to provide a platform to Radio Nasha listeners to reminisce their loved actor by pouring their love.”

‘Radio Ki Heroine’ RJ Rohini, the host of Jhakaas Mornings on Radio Nasha in Mumbai, invited Kamal Haasan, Mahie Gill, Jimmy Sheirgill and Chitrangada Singh on her show. The stars gave their heartfelt messages for their beloved star in her memory. As a part of the campaign, artist Ranjit Dahiya is painting a Sridevi mural located at Chapel road next to the murals previously painted by him.

#ThankYouSridevi is a Tribute Night by Radio Nasha and RJ Rohini and will feature Bollywood singer Shruti Pathak, slam poet Ramya Pandyan, Indie sensation Nirmika Singh, activist/fan Harish Iyer and transgender dance troupe Dancing Queens.
