Captivating character 'Whatsap Chachu' will entertain BIG FM Delhi listeners

MUMBAI: BIG FM is all set to entertain Delhi listeners with a new interstitial - ‘Whatsap Chachu.’ As the name suggests, the concept is inspired by popular social media trends that connect well with the millennials. The light-hearted newly launched radio segment will add to the line-up of captivating content on the network through witty, engaging and topical jokes that resonate well with the brand ethos of ‘Suno Sunao Life Banao.’

Whatsap Chachu will be speaking in the mannerism of a well-known Bollywood actor. Based in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh and now relocated in Delhi, the fictitious character will be sharing amazing stories, jokes and anecdotes from his family, friends, and relatives on social messaging platforms.

The interstitial that will amplify the entertainment quotient on the network, was launched during Diwali as a special edition. However, the offering received such an overwhelming response from the listeners that is now being aired daily. The interesting concept intends to capture the attention of the younger generation, as well as appeal to a larger demographic with its fun, light-hearted content.

Speaking about the new offering, spokesperson from BIG FM said, “We constantly strive to create and provide fresh and relatable content that appeals to our listeners. The station has previously had a successful run with interstitials like ‘Sahi Pakde Hain’ from the show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain, Aktor Calling Aktor, and MJ Pushpa. These offerings became highly popular and were immensely appreciated by the listeners. The response led to the creation of this equally captivating interstitial, Whatsap Chachu that intends to be just as entertaining for the audiences.
