MUMBAI: In a strange marriage of sorts, RBNL's Big FM which recently sold 49 per cent of its stake to Zee, is partnering another Reliance company, the Mumbai Metro for on ground Christmas initiatives.

The radio station is launching a noble endeavour titled #BeSanta for less fortunate children who don’t have the resources to get a gift on Christmas. Sources tell us there will be stalls, banners, and Big boxes at four metro stations in Mumbai which include, D N Nagar, Andheri, Sakinaka and Ghatkopar. People can come and contribute, donate toys and belongings, which can be utilised to treat people who are underprivileged.

There will a two minutes voice over playing at each metro station too on Christmas carnival with Big FM.

In addition, one can donate toys and gifts at Big FM’s Mumbai office for the same.

On this noble venture, Vidya Balan also visited the radio station and appealed to listeners to donate toys for this venture this Christmas.
