RJ Malishka and rapper Divine to kick-off RED FM's digital concert

MUMBAI: On 18 February, rapper Divine and RJ Malishka will kick off Red FM's newest product- 'Red Live Unplugged.' In association with Sony Music and True School of Music, the first episode of the Unplugged series features one of the finest rappers - Vivian Fernandes- and one of the country's most beloved radio jockey - RJ Malishka.

'Red Live Unplugged' will feature three hours of original music and interaction with the artist. For the first episode, Mumbai's rapper Divine will perform few of his original songs, accompanied by RJ Malishka for the one of its kind digital concert. National Marketing Head of Red 93.5 FM, Rajat Utpal, spoke to Radioandmusic.com about the upcoming gig, "The concert 'Red Live Unplugged' allows listeners to have the experience of concerts, but on digital platforms. The listeners can come to our Facebook page and YouTube channel for the one of its kind experience without sacrificing your comfort. Tomorrow, rapper Divine would perform an original exclusively written for the concert, titled 'Samman'."

Red FM plans to elaborate the concept that will be accessible for anyone with the internet in the country. "The world is going digital. We think the concept will definitely work. Right now, we are planning to execute it on a monthly basis, but with more artists, we could make it a weekly affair," adds Utpal.
