MUMBAI: Junta Express, a Sony Mix property will be back with its new edition. The new Junta Express releasing on 8 September is a vox pop format program which will be hosted by VJ Rudy Singh

“The idea behind such a property is the direct interaction with the audience to help build a healthy relationship with it. After the first edition, we took a break and are back with fresh ideas for our audience,” said Junta Express senior executive producer.

It was in 2015 when the first edition of Junta Express began, hosted by anchor Aparshakti Khurrana. After a year’s break, the team will be re-launching the program with a unique style of anchoring.

This will be a journey to test the audience’s knowledge, where he will ask some quirky questions around Bollywood movies, music and actors. The audience interacted will not be commoners from the street but well researched audiences from offices, colleges and residential apartments.

“Junta Express is an organic property. We have a mix of audience for our channel, amongst which is the younger generation,”added the senior executive producer.

Junta Express will also be available on YouTube channels of Sony Mix and Sony ROX HD.
