MUMBAI: Pawan Agarwal has resigned from his designation as Business Head of Gaana.com to join Youtube. Agarwal made the decision to quit Gaana.com, in December 2015. He joined Youtube as Head of Music Partnerships for India & South Asia on 4 January 2015.
He shared the same on his social networking page on 5 January, 2015.

The former Gaana.com Business Head had joined the company in June 2013. Thus, he was with Gaana.com for two and a half years. Before Gaana.com, Agarwal was the co-founder and chief operating officer (COO) at Sunstone Business School. An IIT Kanpur alumnus, Agarwal has also worked at companies like Lime Labs India, GlobalLogic, Xthetic Systems, and Amsoft Systems.
At Youtube, Agarwal will be heading the music partnership with music labels as well as artist.
Agarwal remained unavailable for comment.
Agarwal’s seat as the Business Head at Gaana.com remains vacant at the moment.
