Sula Sessions return with Bajaao as the new associate

MUMBAI: For the second year in a row, Sula Sessions would provide a platform to several budding music acts across the country, beginning from July. Sula Sessions is an initiative formed in order to create the build up to the main event – Sula Fest.

The second edition of Sula Sessions begins in Gurgaon with Electronic/Rock duo ‘FuzzCulture’ on 30 July in Raasta, Gurgaon. The edition will extend to five other cities, executing the concept of one-act-per-city every month till the month of February.

Speaking to Radioandmusic.com about the initiative, Senior Executive – Client Servicing at Bajaao Entertainment, Shreya Sanzgiri said, “There will be one Sula Session every month. So far, we have finalised six places – Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Pune, Goa, Gangtok and Mumbai. We’re still debating if we can stretch to seven cities, but also need to ensure how to work around it because the Sula Fest happens in February. We cannot speak about last year, but we did suggest few bands to the team at Sula. The names haven’t been finalised yet though.”

The VP of Marketing at Sula Vineyards, Cecila Oldne added,“Music and wines goes hand in hand and we love sharing the best of both! Music is the wine that fills the cup of silence right, and we at Sula are looking forward to bringing season 2 on with some really good tunes!”

The entry fee for these sessions would vary according to the venues, and there’s encouraging news for the fans looking forward to the Gurgaon event, as Raasta wouldn’t charge for the night featuring FuzzCulture.

Bajaao Entertainment continues to augment with its several associations this year. Earlier this year, the online retail company collaborated with National Institute of Technology (read here).

Not just collaborations with established IPs, Bajaao also launched a new initiative ‘Friends of Bajaao’  that revolves around the organisation’s mantra – to be the budding and established musicians’ ‘go-to’ platform.
