MUMBAI: Capitalising on its leadership position in Bollywood, T-Series proved its mettle once again and this time in regional music space. At recently concluded PTC Music awards 2015, considered as Grammy of Punjabi music industry, T-Series swept the awards with nine popular awards in various categories.

Let's have a quick look at the categories where music label ruled.
- 'Best Religious Album '- 'Gurumukh Pyareo' by Geeta Zaildar. The category of 'Best Video Director' witnessed a tie between Hardy Sandhu's 'Jokar’ and Preet Harpal's 'Black Suit’, both videos produced by T-Series.

- 'Best Music Director – Album' was bagged by Music Label's superhit album 'Folk Collaboration'

-Not leaving behind Bollywood, the category of 'Best Punjabi based song in a Hindi Film', T-Series bagged it with Super Hit Song 'Pataka Guddi' from Bollywood film 'Highway’.

-T-Series known for promoting good talent not only in India but overseas as well proved it by sweeping away the 'Best Non Resident Punjabi Album’ with Sukshinder  Shinda's album 'Collaboration 3'.

 -'Best Folk Oriented’ song was swept by music label's super hit song 'Jatti' by Harjit Harman.

 -'Best Club Song’ was bagged by Preet Harpal's 'Black Suit’.

 -Songs with powerful social message had a special category of nomination and in here T-Series proved to have done it's part by bagging the 'Best Song With Message’ with Preet Harpal's 'Nashe’.

Speaking on the occasion, T-Series president Neeraj Kalyan said, “Regional and folk music is our cultural legacy and in fact Bollywood owes some of its greatest artists, writers and directors to Punjab. Punjabi music is no longer seen only in the regional space and can be heard regularly in mainstream popular Bollywood films as well. T-Series has and will always continue to support the Punjabi music industry and our passion for developing and promoting quality music has led us to discover young talent in Punjab, be it Singers, Writers, Composers & Cinematographers. These awards are a result of joint efforts of T-Series and the artists involved and is a testimony to our commitment in the Punjabi music space”.

 PTC Music awards is an event that every single Punjabi artist looks up to & T-Series sweeping the major categories of the Award, clearly manages to show that good music is not only supported but awarded too.
