Dean Gillard appointed VP/International Marketing and A&R for Universal Music's Global Dance Network PM:AM Recordings

MUMBAI: Dean Gillard has been appointed the Vice President International Marketing and A&R for PM:AM Recordings, Universal Music's global dance music network. He will be reporting to Kate Farmer, Senior Vice President International Marketing at Universal Music Group International and is based in London.

With an experience that spans two decades, Gillard is a senior A&R executive and has played a key role in launching Universal's PM:AM .

Pres./Global Marketing Universal Music Andrew Kronfeld said, "Over the past three years we have endeavoured to make PM:AM RECORDINGS the best home for dance music artists both locally and globally. The success we have achieved in bringing this to fruition is due in no small part to the efforts of creative people like DEAN. Placing him in this newly created position further cements our commitment to the dance music community, and our belief that Dean will be instrumental to our further growth in the future."

Farmer said, "Dean has been so closely involved in the launch and success of PM:AM Recordings over the last three years that I'm thrilled he's officially joining the team. With electronic music now one of the most international of genres we're all very excited about what we can achieve with PM:AM Recordings right around the world."
