MUMBAI: Rihanna has further branched into the fashion world after being named contributing creative director and Punk & Poet brand ambassador for socks brand- Stance. The ‘Diamonds’ singer has inked a multi-year deal with the brand, which will see her design her signature women’s collection over several seasons.

To commemorate the new partnership, Stance has unveiled two limited edition styles called ‘Murder Rih Wrote’, each of which includes a 3-of-a-kind set. All three socks in each set have slightly varied graphics, which will enable a mix and match collection. Only 1,500 of these sets are available, each of which is individually numbered, making it a true collector’s item.

Speaking on her new partnership, the 27-year old singer said, “I've had a great relationship with Stance for a long time and ?I am happy to be working with them on such a fun and creative project. This is an exciting new venture.”

Stance's Women's division SVP Candy Harris said, “Rihanna epitomizes what it means to dress by your own rules. She is a fashion pioneer and we are excited that she has made Stance her next canvas. This is a seminal moment for the sock category because together Rihanna and Stance have the ability to take an accessory you've never thought about and transform it into one you can't live without."

The first Stance Sock Collection by Rihanna will be launched this fall, and will be available globally. In her role as contributing creative director, the ‘Only Girl’ singer will also work with Stance on other creative projects throughout the duration of the partnership
