Rajshri Entertainment partners with MSN for audio visual content

MUMBAI: Digital entertainment studio Rajshri Entertainment has joined hands with Microsoft Corp.'s information and entertainment network MSN. The partnership will allow MSN to carry the existing and new content of Rajshri Entertainment on their platform.

This collaboration will see content from channels like Rajshri Food, Bollywood Now, Hollywood Now, Rajshri Soul and others, being featured on new MSN. Currently, Rajshri Entertainment is sending across 20-25 clips per day to MSN which also includes audio visual content and music videos.

Rajshri Entertainment Private Limited Content Alliances GM Inderpal Singh said, "We are producing over 150 minutes of original video content on a daily basis including entertainment news, food shows, health and wellness, devotional amongst others. The new video service will help us reach a wider audience in India and overseas."

Singh added, "We have been working with each other for a year now. But with new and revised platform, things will get better. We are hopeful that it would do extremely well for everyone with the change on MSN." New MSN is launched in the beta mode and also had a soft launch recently. MSN India executive producer Sanjay Trehan said, "Built from the ground up, the new MSN combines comprehensive content from the world's leading media outlets with powerful tools to help you do more."

Short form digital entertainment and special interest content, produced and aggregated by Rajshri Entertainment, will be showcased on the New MSN. Singh added, "MSN will go more aggressive with our products very soon."

Rajshri will also launch kids vertical next week which will be again musical in nature. "As and when we launch new categories and brands, we will have a conversation/discussion with them so that it will also be made available on their platform," Singh said.

Rajshri has deals with Rediff, Yahoo, Midday, Dainik Jagran and others. Singh said, "We are not going to differentiating in terms of content it will be pretty much the same. It will be the same for all the platforms."

Rajshri Entertainment produces content across multiple genres and languages. These branded channels range from lifestyle to e-news and from kids to devotional. It produces content in high-definition.
