Vevo and BBC partner for distribution of Radio 1Æs Live Lounge Performance series

MUMBAI: Vevo and BBC have partnered for distribution of Radio 1’s Live Lounge Performance Series. With this partnership, Vevo will have access to Radio 1’s catalogue of over 200 Live Lounge performances, with future performances, including international ones, being added to music video platform. The partnership will also provide Radio 1 access to Vevo, which has over 12 billion monthly views.

Radio 1’s Live Lounge offers a combination of the best musical acts from both, stalwarts and emerging artists. "Vevo is one of my favourite apps, so to get Radio 1's world-famous Live Lounge to its massive audience of new music fans across the globe is utterly fantastic," said, Radio 1 and 1Xtra, BBC Controller Ben Cooper.

"We're excited to collaborate with BBC Worldwide and BBC Radio 1 to bring such an iconic and unique program as Live Lounge to Vevo's growing audience. Vevo will feature Live Longue from 12 November, 2015.
