MUMBAI: Legendary poet and filmmaker Gulzar saab was awarded with Honorary Doctorate in Urdu Literature by the Maulana Azaad National Urdu University (MANUU) on Saturday in Hyderabad. MUMBAI: Cyber-crooks, who infiltrated Sony Music archives illegally last year have apparently stolen King of Pop Micheal Jackson’s entire back catalogue, including an unreleased collaboration with Will.I.Am and Freddie Mercury. MUMBAI: Rock guitarist Ronnie Montrose who formed his own band and performed with some of rock’s heavy hitters, passed away on Saturday at his home in Millbrae, California after battling prostate cancer for five years. Veteran radio broadcaster Hope Gaur passes away

NEW DELHI: Hope Gaur, a veteran and popular broadcaster and former senior producer of All India Radio (AIR), passed away. Ninety-year old Gaur breathed her last after a brief illness. Gaur had headed the Western Music Department in the AIR till her retirement in 1983. Born in Lucknow on 12 October 1922, she worked with AIR for over 30 years.
