MUMBAI: Coinciding with the ninth death anniversary of lyricist Anand Bakshi, Subhash Ghai has decided to film a documentary on him.
The two, who shared a great bond both in their professional and personal lives, worked together on films like Yaadein, Pardes and Trimurti
Born in Rawalpindi, Bakshi was a preferred lyricist for many directors, having written Dum Maro Dum in Dev Anand's Hare Rama Hare Krishna. Bakshi had also written lyrics for the first films of stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff and Rishi Kapoor among others.
