MUMBAI: Mercury Music Group/Def Jam, UK announced today that Rihanna's UK record sales have passed the 10 million mark. This milestone has been achieved six years after Mercury Music Group/Def Jam first launched her career in UK. The label has released each of her five albums, starting with 2005's Music of the Sun followed by four multi-platinum albums including the 6x Platinum 2007 release Good Girl Gone Bad.

The US rapper claims the crown after reaching 29m Facebook fans or ‘likes’, overtaking Lady Gaga in a closely contested and long drawn out battle.
