BANGALORE: The recently held Mirchi Music Awards South in Chennai will be telecast on 1 August in Andhra Pradesh (AP), Tamil Nadu (TN) and Karnataka.
The awards will be aired at 9 am on Star's Kannada offering Suvarana and at 4 pm on Star's Tamil channel Vijay and Zee Telugu (AP).
The show, meanwhile, will be telecast in Kerala on Star's Malayalam channel Asianet Plus on 15 August at 11 am.

NEW DELHI : The Indian FM radio sector may be in for some good news. The buzz doing the rounds in New Delhi is that the the Union Cabinet is reportedly positively inclined to hike the foreign direct investment limit in FM radio from 20 per cent to 26 per cent. The Cabinet has to reach a consensus on this decision, but the Committee of Secretaries (CoS), headed by the Cabinet Secretary, had agreed to the increase earlier this month. Its recommendation has now been forwarded to the Cabinet.

Media reports nineteen-year-old Khan, a folk singer from Rajasthan lent his voice to ace composer Bappi Lahiri's upcoming film Emotional Atyachar. The music of the film is composed by Bappi Da and Mangesh Dhaake and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Recording of the song took place at Bappi Da's studio on 24 July.
