A favourite of fans and critics alike, the band was formed in 1994, and has released six studio albums so far. MUMBAI: LimeWire, the makers of file sharing software, have been found liable for infringing the music copyrights of 13 major record companies, in a judgement by a US Court.
The lawsuit was filed in August 2006 by Arista, Atlantic, BMG Music, Capital, Elektra, Interscope, LaFace, Motown, Priority, Sony BMG, UMG, Virgin and Warner Brothers. According to the ruling, LimeWire and its founder Mark Gorton were liable for infringement and engaging in unfair competition with the record labels.

MUMBAI: BBC digital radio station 6 Music, that is facing the axe received two Gold awards at the Sony Radio Academy Awards.
Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish, who present a Saturday morning show on the station, won the Gold award for Best Comedy. Jarvis Cocker, the Pulp singer who also presents a show on the station, was given the Rising Star prize.
The victories at the Awards is said to give a boost for protestors hoping to persuade the BBC that the stations should be saved.
