MUMBAI : With 1,046,718 copies sold in the US in the first week of release, Taylor Swift's �Speak Now' album has scored Sound Scan's biggest single week sales in total since 2005 and is the biggest debuting studio album in history.
Speak Now accounted for 18% of total albums sold last week, setting a new record for percentage of total sales in a single week. One out of every five CDs or download sales this week was Taylor's Speak Now album, which was released on Big Machine Records.

BANGALORE: Radio Indigo Bangalore announced Rhea Vieaas as the winner by a draw of lots to go for an all-expenses-paid trip to the Indian Music Conference being held at Goa from November 17 to 20. Radio Indigo had shortlisted those listeners who were among the ninth callers each on a daily show from October 25. Indian Music Conference is a 4-day event where more than 230 national and international artists will perform. Thermal and a Quarter, Raghu Dixit Project and rock band Kryptos are representing Bengaluru at the festival.
