MUMBAI: In an attempt to revamp itself Radio Misty has launched two new shows that will hit the airwaves around Independence Day.
The station will air a new show �Aap ki Mehfil' which will kick start on 16th August The show will be hosted by RJ Sunit. �Shaam-e-Ghazal' is another show to hit the airwaves from 10 pm to 11 pm. The show will music interspersed with RJ talk. �Misty Choutari' an already on-air show will now have an extended time slot of three hours from previous two hours. The show will be aired on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm

MUMBAI: Four of the world's biggest music companies have partnered to launch a new music format- CMX. Sony, Warner, Universal and EMI would be introducing the new digital album format for downloadable digital music to take on Apple.
To be launched in November, CMX will provide a file that would have a totally brand-new look with a launch page and all the different options. Instead of just ten tracks, the digital album format will contain artwork, the video and mobile products.

MUMBAI: Eros International Plc UK has announced the appointment of A P Parigi as the Group Chief Executive Officer for its India operations.
Parigi recently stepped down as ENIL's (Radio Mirchi) Managing Director and is scheduled to complete his tenure by 30 September. Parigi joined the Times of India Group in 2000 and lead managed the Times Group foray into Radio, OOH media and event management.

MUMBAI: All India Radio FM Rainbow Bangalore has started airing a new show �Eyeway Yeh Hai Roshni Ka Karawan', a programme for the visually impaired.
The show which hit the airwaves on 12 August, will be aired every Wednesday for 15 minutes at 9.30 pm and the language for dissemination will be Hindi. Apart from Bangalore, the show is aired in another eight cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jallandhar, Kanpur, Lucknow, Cuttack and Hyderabad.
