MUMBAI: Airtel digital TV - the DTH service from Bharti Airtel – today announced that it would be replacing the 10 WorldSpace Satellite Radio channels on its DTH platform with 10 All India Radio channels effective January 1, 2010. This replacement would be automatic and at no additional cost for all subscriber of the Music Plus Top Up and for those who were receiving the WorldSpace channels as part of their subscription pack. ...

MUMBAI: After obtaining injunctions in Tier 2 cities in Karnatka and Tamil Nadu last week, Indian Music Industry's licensing arm- Public Performance License (PPL) is targeting venues in the national capital.
