MUMBAI: India's ace sitar player and inventor of the zitar, Niladri Kumar launched his album 'Priority' at one of city's well known college festival 'Umang' under the Saregama label on Monday. Niladri played instrumental solos from his album, besides playing tunes like Raghu Pati Raghav Rajaram and Smoke on the water, which erupted out of pure spontaneity and were well received by the audience. Music World to add over 30 stores by year end

MUMBAI: The RPG group plans to invest Rs 600 million over the next two years in its music retailing chain, Music world. As part of the plans, the company would be rolling out 30-40 stores by this year end. Music World president speciality retail business division K Dasaratharaman elaborates, "The amount spent will primarily depend on the size of the stores. It would cost around Rs five million to Rs 10 million per store depending on the location of the store and the floor space." ...
