MUMBAI: Two internationally acclaimed bands 'White Lion' and 'FireHouse' will perform together at Shillong, together for the first time, on 13 December 2008.
To be held at J N Stadium, Shillong, the show is being billed as the 'mother of all concerts in the country'.
Firehouse would be performing in Shillong for the second time. Surprisingly, the band had earlier played at the same venue four years ago on the same date (13 December) in front of a record 35,000 fans.

MUMBAI: Channel [V] head Mohit Anand has quit the organisation after a short stint of six months.
Saurabh Kanwar, VP content and communications, is given the additional responsibility of taking up the role of business head.
Anand has quit the channel citing personal reasons. For now Kanwar is looking after the channel,... a Star India spokesperson confirmed to Indiantelevision.com.
Anand had joined Channel [V] on 21 April, after Amar K Deb quit to float his own content-selling portal Rowdy Rascals.

NEW DELHI: With the amendment of the All India Radio, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry on Friday formally allowed political advertising on All India Radio and FM channels which adhere to the AIR Code.
The development comes as major revenue boost to the radio industry as FM radio industry may well rake in revenues to the extent of Rs 1200 million between now and the General Elections expected in May 2009.
