MUMBAI: Governor Andrew Cuomo has signed legislation making the operation of an AM or FM radio station without a license illegal in the state of New York. Violations will be treated as a "Class A" misdemeanor. The new law gives local law enforcement an important tool to protect consumers and stem the tide of illegal radio operation in New York.

NEW DELHI: Bhojpuri singer Kalpana has run into trouble â€“ for showing the national bird Peacock in the video of her new Hindi music album â€?Maa-e-Ri - a lyrical conversation with Mother Nature', slated for release on 27 October.
The Central Board of Film Certification and the Animal Rights Board have objected to the use of the national bird in the video. The singer has been ordered to remove the footages.
