MUMBAI: NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced today that it will begin selling the Xperia arc SO-01C smartphone through all DOCOMO sales channels nationwide in Japan on March 24.
The Xperia arc SO-01C is powered by Android 2.3, the latest version of this operating system. A maximum downlink of 14 Mbps is possible in this first handset to be compatible with DOCOMO's new extra-high-speed downlink service, which is scheduled to launch in HSDPA service areas around June.
