MUMBAI: The classic tracks from fifties and sixties are stated to be more varied compared to the modern day pop numbers, according to the result of an analysis published in the journal ‘Scientific Reports’.
The analysis conducted on half a million pop songs from 1955 to 2010 revealed that the tracks in fifties and sixties had much more variation than modern pop, which is louder, less varied, and uses less chords.
