MUMBAI: Sony Corp has secured financing from Abu Dhabi's investment fund for its takeover bid for rival music company EMI, according to PTI.
Sony has financial support from �Mubadala', the Abu Dhabi investment fund, and media investment bank Raine, which would put the Japanese firm on a more equal footing with rival bidders including BMG Music Publishing, Ronald Perelman's MacAndrews & Forbes group, Universal Music and Len Blavatnik's Warner Music.

MUMBAI: Samsung has joined the escalating music 'cloud' crowd with the launch of its streaming service �Music Hub' which will start from 17 October.
The service will offer endless music and videos on subscription basis for Galaxy-smartphones, tablets and Smart TVs. Music Hub consists of over three million songs and around 11,000 music videos from all four record giants and independent labels. The streamed audio can be cached in a Galaxy device.
