MUMBAI: PK Mishra, the lyricist of the catchy number, �Dil Hai Chhota Sa, Choti Si Aasha' and �Bharat humko jaan se pyaara hai' from Roja, passed away on Wednesday at a city hospital in Chennai.
Mishra was admitted in a Chennai hospital's intensive care unit on December 19 for a mutli-organ dysfunction. The 65 year old lyricist expired on Wednesday at 11.45 am and is survived by his wife and two sons.

MUMBAI: Singing legend Manna Dey, was awarded an honorary doctorate of literature (DLit) by Jadavpur University on 25 December, 2008.
West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi presented the DLit degree to Dey, 88, for his contribution to the Indian music industry at the 53rd annual convocation of the varsity here.
