MUMBAI: Radio is the most trusted source of news in UK, leaving TV, internet and newspaper behind, according to a recent report by Ofcom.
As per the report 66 per cent of people considered radio to be reliable and accurate, compared with 58 per cent for online, 54 per cent for TV and just 34 per cent for newspapers.
It is the first time that news websites have overtaken television as a trusted source for current affairs. Newspapers were deemed the most untrustworthy medium.
The survey, of 1,824 people over the age of 16, was conducted in 2009.
