MUMBAI: The Internet Media Device Alliance (IMDA) has announced a baseline certification standard for standalone internet radio players.
Called IMDA Profile 1, the standard aims to protect consumers by aligning competing technologies and future-proofing internet radio product design.
It is estimated that certified radios will today receive around 90 per cent of the world`s radio stations currently broadcasting over the internet.

MUMBAI: Nat Geo Music would soon be coming out with a series called 'The Music Nomad'. The series aims at exploring diverse set of music genres and artists through live and in-studio performances and interviews across several continents. The good news - it starts with India.

MUMBAI: Big FM has announced the appointment of Sailesh Bijlani as its Cluster Head – Maharashtra and Goa.
Bijlani will be spearheading the operations of the radio station for Mumbai, Sholapur and Goa.
