Gigabyte has announced the launch of three new smartphones.
The company will initially introduce three models of its touchscreen Windows Mobile PDA phones GSmart - MS820, MW702 and MW700. First showcased at the Mobile World Congress in February, Gigabyte claims they received excellent reviews and were very highly rated by industry analysts, critics and users.

MUMBAI: Campaign tools that help the industry convey the power of radio are making a difference, according to NAB President and CEO David K Rehr.
Delivering the "State of the Industry" opening keynote for the 2009 NAB Show in the US on Monday, Rehr said that earlier this month, 90 per cent of radio insiders surveyed about Radio Heard Here (the consumer phase campaign of Radio 2020 - NAB's initiative to ensure radio's value ) said that tools that are being used by the industry are helping to underline the power of radio.

MUMBAI: Eminent ghazal singer Iqbal Bano passed away in Lahore on Tuesday. She was 74.
Musically talented, with a sweet and appealing voice, Bano developed a love for music from a young age. She was known throughout the subcontinent particularly for her renditions of Faiz's works.
Born and brought up in Delhi, where she was born in 1935, Bano was a student of Ustad Chaand Khan of the Delhi Gharana, who mentored her in classical music.

MUMBAI: Music major T-Series, in its continuing campaign against unlicensed users of its content, has secured a Delhi High Court injunction against news channel India News.
According to Super Cassettes (T-Series), a notice was sent to India News to stop using T-Series songs and copyright works for its programming. The channel however continued to use T-Series copyright works without the proper license, following which T-Series moved the court.
