MUMBAI: Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar was honoured with the Taj Enlighten Tareef Award at a workshop organised by the Enlighten Film Society and Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Akhtar conducted the workshop on the art of scriptwriting at the Red Lounge, Cinemax Versova, wherein he shared his experiences and insights on Indian cinema, screenplay and his journey so far.

MUMBAI: The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) has deferred its decision to allow Worldspace to provide/undertake web based services in India.
At its meeting held on 20 April, the FIPB approved 22 proposals of foreign direct investment amounting to an estimated Rs 5.41 billion.
While South Asia FM Ltd (SAFL) has got the FIPB (foreign investment promotion board) nod to increase its foreign direct equity, the Worldspace proposal has been put on hold.

MUMBAI: Malaysia-based Astro will pick up equity in Sun TV Network Ltd's subsidiary company South Asia FM Ltd (SAFL), says a ministry source.
SAFL, which operates Sun TV's FM radio stations outside the southern states, is raising capital to fund its business. Sun TV's stake in the subsidiary company will fall likely by five per cent to 60 per cent.
