MUMBAI: Universal Music has released the �2012 Grammy Nominees' album featuring 22 critically acclaimed smash hits.
The 18th edition of the best-selling collection includes many of the most widely recognized Grammy categories representing nominees for Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Country Album and Best PopDuo/Group Performance.
Universal has partnered with The Recording Academy's Grammy Recordings for the album, and a special arrangement is made with all major music distribution companies and labels from year to year.

MUMBAI: SoundExchange, a non-profit entity that collects royalties for musicians from satellite radio firms, Internet radio services and cable music channels in US announced that it made a distribution of $89.5 million in the fourth quarter. The organization made royalty payments to $292 million during 2011, up 17 percent from the prior year.
This brings total royalties distributed since the organization's inception to more than $900 million, states the company.
