As part of its birthday celebration, the station ran contests and gave out exciting prizes to its listeners. The station started off in July 2002 and has covered local issues with winning RJs, super hit music and interactive programming.

MUMBAI: The Association of Independent Music (AIM) has announced �AIM Independent Music Awards' to celebrate and recognise independent artistes, labels and companies in UK.
The awards will consist of 14 categories, out of which nine will be judged by UK's most informed music critics, while the remaining five categories will be up for public voting.
The nominees will be unveiled in October and the award ceremony will be held on 10 November in London, hosted by BBC Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens and 6 Music's Steve Lamacq.

MUMBAI: The National Association of Broadcasters (Nab) has announced that the nomination process for the Nab HD Radio Multicast Award, which recognises creative and compelling digital programming, has opened. The deadline for submitting entries is 31 July.
Established in 2007, the award recognises an HD Radio multicast station at the forefront of creating unique, innovative or groundbreaking programming. The award will be presented during the 2011 Radio Show, from 14-16 September, in Chicago.
