MUMBAI: UK based progressive extreme metal band De Profundis has signed a licensing deal with Sony Music to release the group's debut album, 'Beyond Redemption' in India. The album was self-released by the band two years ago and went on to become popular in the US and the UK.
For those not in the know, De Profundis is the same band that supported Iron Maiden at the Rock In India festival which was held on 15 February at the Palace Grounds in Bangalore, India.

MUMBAI: Vh1 is adding new specials and celeb-reality series to its Rock Doc franchise as part of its new summer slate.
The channel will kick off The Great Debate at 10 pm from 6 July. The show will look at settling pop-culture disputes.
