MUMBAI: CD compilation series, Now That's What I Call Music!, will partner with Simon Fuller - founder of 19 Entertainment, and creator of American Idol - to bring the "Now" brand to television and internet.
The announcement comes as "Now" celebrates a decade of hits in the US with a 10th anniversary CD, and coincides with "Now" UK's 25th birthday.
The "Now" series has sold over 72 million CDs in the US alone. Now CEO Bob Mercer says, "Fuller is negotiating on behalf of the 19 Entertainment/Now partnership, beginning with a US network television show."

MUMBAI: UK's Radio Advertising Bureau is launching a radio campaign later this week to promote the use of radio in an economic downturn.
The ads will run across the Commercial Radio network and feature actor and comedian David Schneider, best known for his appearances in �Knowing Me Knowing You...with Alan Partridge'.
Schneider will interview three major radio advertisers, including Dianne Thompson, chief executive of Camelot, Tim Orton of Specsavers and Richard Larcombe of The Times and Sunday Times.

MUMBAI: Film production house K Sera Sera is the latest media company to get into the music label business.
The company has launched its own music label, K Sera Sera Music, and its home production, Kiss Se Pyaar Karoon, is the first title it will roll out. According to the company's director Sanjay Lall, the label is a logical extension of the production house's plans, and will focus on acquiring 'good music, basically Bollywood'. This would entail K Sera Sera's own productions, as well as other acquisitions too.
