MUMBAI: Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University will set up its community radio station in Hissar within an estimated three months time.
With this the number of CRS will increase to 60 in the country.
A Letter of Intent had been issued to the Institute after recommendations of Inter Ministerial Committee and seeking requisite clearances from various Ministries. The Community Radio Station is expected to be operational within three months as per the agreement.

MUMBAI: BIG 92.7 FM No. 1 FM Station Network in association with Durbar Mahila Samanaya Committee on the occasion of World Aids Day organized a day long HIV and AIDS awareness campaign on 1st December'09 to keep the public informed about the reality, myths and misconceptions about HIV and AIDS. The awareness campaign which will be carried out both on-air and on-ground will focus on spreading the right information and will urge people to stop discrimination towards HIV infected people. The campaign kicked off at Sonagachi the largest red light district in the city.
