MUMBAI: After the N-series and the Xpress music series, Nokia has launched new handsets under the Supernova series. 7210, 7310, 7510, and 7610 are the four models which have been officially launched.
The 7210 is a tri-band GSM phone with edge, along with a two megapixel camera and FM radio, set to launch in quarter three.The 7310 supports Nokia's Xpress-On faceplates, TV-out as well as support for GSM 850.

MUMBAI: Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya is back with a new album to his credit. To be launched by T-Series in a month, this will be Abhijeet's fifth album, two of which, Aashiqui and Tere Bina, have been chart toppers. Tere Bina, his last album, was released in 2002. The as yet unnamed fifth album marks his comeback to the non film genre.
There are likely to be six to eight tracks in the new album, not including the number of remixes which the label will soon take a call on.

MUMBAI: Digital Outlook has built a social network application 'My Rock Band' on Facebook in the UK and France. The application promotes the launch of the new Rock Band game from MTV Games, available exclusively on Xbox 360.
The application will launch next week, while it went live on Facebook on 13 June. It is being supported via social ads created by AKQA on Facebook in the UK and also on the official Xbox Facebook pages in UK and France.

MUMBAI: EMI is appointing Elio Leoni Sceti from Reckitt Benckiser as chief executive to run its recorded music division says a Times Online report.
Sceti has spent 16 years with Reckitt. He was promoted two years ago to the role of executive vice president for Europe, after serving in various marketing roles and as general manager for Germany and Italy. Sceti has a strong background in marketing honed at Procter & Gamble in Italy and France. Sceti has been handling brands such as Cillit Bang, Veet hair remover and Finish dishwasher tablets.
