MUMBAI:Indian classical music maestro Shri Pandit Jasraj has rendered his voice first time for a commercial film.
Pandit Jasraj has sung for a song titled 'Waada Tumshe Hai Waada', for Vikram Bhatts next -1920. It is a promotional video, whose shoot commenced on 13th April in Mumbai. The music has been designed by Adnan Sami and lyricist Sameer has written the song. The video has been choreographed by Raju Khan. 1920 is being produced by ASA Production and Enterprises Pvt Ltd.

MUMBAI: Big FM has announced a new move in the company, with the appointment of Himanshu Shekhar as the Regional Head for North and West India.
His role at Big FM will see the career movement from a communication planner to a media owner. His last stint was with Mindshare Fulcrum where he held the post of General Manager. Shekhar has been credited with his ongoing contribution to the growth of Fulcrum in Print,Radio and activation. At Big FM, Shekhar would be reporting to COO Tarun Katial.

MUMBAI: T-Series is releasing a compilation of 100 songs of Bollywood hunk Salman Khan. The album 'Salman Khan-Bollywood Hunk' will include 100 songs in six CDs, which include songs from the actor's hit films.The album include songs that made Salman get a lover boy image like Maine Pyar Kiya, Sajan and Khamoshi and also comprises of hit from his latest releases like Partner and Jane-e-man.
Earlier, T- Series had released compilation of King Khan's [Shah Rukh] hit songs named 'Chak De 100 Shah Rukh'.

MUMBAI: The Radio and TV Advertising Practitioners Association of India Ltd (RAPA), which honours creative work in the radio and television field, has attracted 1,000 nominations for the 33rd All India RAPA Awards for Excellence 2007.
Last year, RAPA received 700 nominations for the awards."We are happy to get a phenomenal increase of more than 43 per cent in the number of nominations for the 33rd All India RAPA Awards for Excellence 2007," said RAPA Awards committee chairman Viresh Chaddha.
