NEW DELHI: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has formally terminated a memorandum of understanding with Supercassettes Industries (T-Series) for audio and home video rights of 14 feature films including Sarkar Raj and Ramgopal Varma ki Aag.
In a statement, Varma said he had informed Supercassettes Industries through a termination notice dated 14 November"with immediate effect for breach of various provisions" of the MoU of June last year.
He said there had been"consistent and continuing non-performance of promises and obligations by Supercassettes (T-Series)."

MUMBAI: Yunasi, a nine-piece band from Kenya, has topped a list of thousands of musicans from around the world to win BBC World Service's The Next Big Thing 2007.
The global music talent search received entries from over 88 countries and Yunasi was chosen as the winner by an all-star jury after playing live at the BBC's famous Maida Vale studios in London.
Yunasi, one of Africa's leading Afro-fusion bands, won with 'Ndi Ndi Ndi,' which wowed both the judges and audience at the final.

MUMBAI: Radio reaches 233 million listeners in the US over the course of the week, according to Radar 95 December 2007 radio listening estimates.
The number has increased from one year ago period of Radar 91 estimates. The 7,200+ Radar Network-affiliated stations reach 82 per cent of all people aged 12 and over.
Radar Network reach 84 per cent of 18-34 year-old adults and 84 per cent of 25-54 year-old adults. It also reaches 84 per cent of 18-49 year-old adults.
